Nix sat outside just staring blankly at the trees. He felt a large warm hand touch his right shoulder.
"Why worry yourself?" Liam asked.
Nix didn't reply.
"Someone's gotten cold" Linax added.
"Don't you have lives to live?" Nix asked dryly.
"Yes we do, we live it with you" Linax replied.
"Oh, my" Liam retorted in disgust.
"What?" Linax asked
"Are you some kind of gay?"
Linax made to blow Liam.
"You two still haven't grown huh?" Nix added.
Liam laughed
"Says someone who a dad?"
"Meaning?" nix asked with a sharp gaze at Liam.
"Hehe...just joking take it easy"
"Just like you didn't on lily" Linax scoffed.
"Watch it lover boy" Liam added
"Oh Dilan would kill you if he finds out you love his wife"
"Who said I did?" Liam replied
"I did..."
Punch
"I told you to watch it" Liam gritted as he landed a punch on Linax.
"Grown men" nix laughed.
"See whose face lightened up huh? Linax he must actually....."
Punch
Liam staggered back.
"Do I have to warn you again?"
"Come on....my lips are bleeding already"
Nix made to leave the two
"Where Sajan?" linax asked
"In school".
"I heard she wants you two to get married?" Liam asked licking his bleeding lips
"I won't"
"Why?" the two chorused.
"If there's anyone to get married it'll be you two punks"
"Haha nix..... it won't be hard for me just that I can't leave Linax knowing how scary he can be?"
"Meaning what?" Linax asked
"Come on. How could you attract girls with that crumbled face of yours you scare all of them"
"You have to Nix you don't have any other choice" Liam turned to Nix.
"How do you mean?" Linax asked in a serious tone
"He has a child, a son and besides his marriage with Betty can't happen. And itis knew all over that he has a son, so to balance things it's best if he marries Sasha before other theories begin to pop up"
There was a long silence among them.
"I agree with him Nix besides things could go worse you know?"
Nix kept quiet. Sasha walked in
"Babe.....oh hi" she smiled at linax. Liam seemed to notice that Sasha had been avoiding any visual contact with him.
"Nix...." Liam called out. Linax and Liam stood up to leave and nix stood.
"Where do you think you're going?" Sasha asked nix who had ignored her since she arrived not even wanting to see her. He pushed her roughly and walked out with Liam and Linax. A curve formed on Liam's face.
Sasha regained her balance, she angrily picked up her purse that had fallen and walked into the house.
"Wait for me phoenix"
When they were far away from Sasha, Liam burst into a fit of laughter
"you didn't have to be rough on her...".
"She irritates me".
"But she's the mother of your son"
Linax could feel the aura emitting from Nix after Liam's last words. Nix had a hard time trying to believe that Sajan was his son, while everyone agreed to it there was this little voice in his head that didn't but it seemed that the voice had died out.
"It wasn't meant to be her" Nix replied in a pained voice.
Liam didn't know how else to console his friend.
"She can't and can never be" Linax patted Nix.
