The couple traveled back that day on Dilan's request. He had persuaded his father to continue the honey moon back there in the country...lily agreed to it. Noah Thor had them come back with a private jet he had exclusively gotten for the couple.
On the body read 'D&L'
The couple flew back to the country without uttering a word to each other.
The Thor family and the Wens had waited patiently at the airport for their arrival.
"My daughter" Mrs Thor hugged lily. Noah Thor smiled at his son.
"Welcome back"
There were alot of chattering and greetings from everyone present.
Something seemed off point to lily
"Where is Betty and Nix?" she asked
Everyone fell silent. A woman approached lily and gave her a hug
"Welcome sister in-law"
"Sasha???" lily asked
"Yes sweet heart glad you remember me"
Lily turned to Noah Thor whose face remained expressionless.
Behind sasha, nix approached Lily with a boy next to him.
Dilan walked closer to Lily who was now watching the scene unfold.
"Lily...Dilan....this is my son Sajan" he said in a pained tone.
"Where is Betty?" lily asked in a cracked voice.
Nix's aura blazed and Dilan's frosty gaze fell on Sajan and then to Sasha who was smirking as she looked at lily. Looking up she met Dilan's gaze and swallowed nervously.
"Where is she?" Dilan asked in a stern voice. Sasha stiffened when she heard him. Her heart suddenly skipped a bit. Nix had an unreadable expression, Sasha had not replied to Dilan who was now staring deadly at her.
"Let's go home first" Noah Thor's voice rang from behind.
Lily moved first, followed by Dilan and they all followed suit.
Noah Thor had stated that the couple is given some time before they joined them. The rest drove to Noah Thor's mansion while the couple went to their residence.
Lily quickly took her bath
"Ma'am shall I serve your lunch now," a maid asked on sighting her
Lily nodded and walked over to the car parked outside, few minutes later Dilan joined her and they drove off to Thor's mansion.
Lily was impassive throughout the whole journey. The car screeched. Lily walked out of the car in haste while Dilan followed behind.
The door swung open and all eyes fell on the lady who was emitting a suppressing aura.
"So soon?" Noah Thor asked with a forced smile on his face.
Lily sat on the empty couch opposite nix, Dilan walked in and sat beside her. Noah Thor smiled inwardly to himself as if sensing an imminent connection between the two.
"So I'm sure you'll want to know about how all these came about?" Noah Thor asked facing lily who nodded.
Noah Thor glanced at Sasha as if gesturing for her to explain herself.
Sasha smiled as she turned to the couple whose gaze had fallen on her.
"I'm sure you knew about our relationship back then in high school right lily?" she asked but got no response.
She began to narrate in detail all
that occurred between her and Phoenix, part of which lily already knew about.
She narrated how Nix had left her with the unborn child, Sajan and how he cared less about their health. Her face turned sullen as she explained all the supposed pain she went through when she heard that he was to get married to Betty.
"I never planned to disrupt the marriage but his son wouldn't let me be. Besides why would he get married when he has a son for himself here. Honestly, I don't know anything about Betty, and I don't mind what occurred to her. My son's happiness is my priority and Phoenix as his father should cater for his son and the mother....his wife to be" she added with a smile.
Lily's face darkened with disgust. She stood up
"Can I see you?" she asked nix who hasn't spoken or reacted ever since she stepped in. She noticed that he also found it hard to look up at her face to face.....
The duo headed outside far away from the family inside.
"I..."
"...He's not yours"
"He is"
"... you sure about it?"
"The results proved so"
"So can't we prove otherwise," she asked softly intertwining their hands. A drop of tear fell from nix eyes. He was indeed grateful that someone could feel how he felt
"...how about we find Betty first?"
"It'll be hard to find her.... "
"Have you...".
"Yes...I couldn't track her" he interrupted her.
"Don't worry...I'm sure wherever she is she's fine ... lets with this first then we can find her later... just watch me work okay?"
Nix nodded
She walked past him but he held her back
"How about Dilan?"
".....He's fine" she answered plainly.
"Did....you....?"
"No, we didn't"
"Oh sorry for asking"
"I understand" and she went back into the house
"Lily Thor, Dilan's wife," nix thought to himself as he watched her walk back into the room.
