The atmosphere was so tense and silent as a graveyard. All eyes were on Dilan as he's knuckles turned white, they were all waiting for his reply. They all couldn't blame his dad for forcing him to get married besides Mr Noah was reaching his age limit and if he passed away with no one after Dilan his empire and all his efforts would be a waste.
The Thor empire was the greatest among all company and the most feared and respected, its enemies had always found a way to bring it down to the dust but Noah thor never gave them the chance ever since he handed it over to his son Dilan the company has soared to greater heights making the rest utterly angry and frustrated but this time they had hope.
Knowing that Dilan never found interest in any woman they knew that once Noah Thor died and left Dilan all alone they had a chance to penetrate all they had to wait for now was for Noah's death. They had been attacking him severally through all many the last one they attempted Noah barely survived after that he was determined to get Dilan a wife not just for his sake but for Dilan's sake too.
Finally the mute man talked
"OK" he answered coldly. His Fathers heart was elated and so was everyone too, but he wasn't done talking.
"It would be a contract marriage"
Everyone turned to him again
"What do you mean?" his father asked
Dilan gazed at him he could see anger well up in his eyes. He sighed.
"once she gives birth she leaves" he said and left, nix followed him behind. Karin watched his brother burst in flames of anger
"Noah I think his decision is better than him rejecting the proposal"
Noah glared at him as he faced palmed himself
"Its urgent Karin" he walked out to his room.
"Why suggest a contract marriage?"
"What do you suggest?" Dilan asked
Nix felt happy that Dilan responded
"Just have a normal marriage with beautiful kids and a lovely wife and...."
"Silence"
Nix abruptly stopped talking and silence reigned in the car again.
"Not for me" Nix understood what Dilan meant but he knew that even if Dilan wouldn't find love love would find him.
"How about your wife nix?"
Nix just furious
"She's not my wife
Dilan laughed meanly.
"Am just....."
"Just what?"
"Could it be that the great player nix has finally found love?" he added interrupting nix. Nix grabbed the wheels so tightly and he lost focus on the road
Crash
A black Corolla had run into them but Dilan didn't sustain much injuries. Nix bleed profusely, Dilan's jaws clenched he dialed a number after making a call pushed the disfigured door. He went over to the car that had just hit them, but he saw no one inside. His knuckles turned White when he sighted a man escape from behind him.
Betty felt relieved that Nix didn't come to Manoeuvre her day, but she couldn't help but feel worried. She didn't know why but she did feel eager to see him but he never came she waved it off with the fact that he was finally tired of her but she couldn't help but get extremely worried.
