Lily tucked herself in as she waited for Betty to meet her. Charles had called Betty out, he seemed so tense so Betty followed him expectant of what he wanted to tell her. Once they were out of hearing, Charles sighed
"I know you are happy that you and lily are okay now" he said grinning
"And you want to spend the rest of the day with her before she travels back"
He hesitated for a while as he looked at her trying to figure out how she would act but Betty just kept a poker face staring at him.
"I really want to have a date with lily tomorrow evening"
"But you can have her in the morning" he added. silence reigned between both of them and charles was getting uncomfortable with the fact that Betty hadn't said anything.
"Okay" she said and Charles smiled at her.
"Thank you" he said hugging her.
She nodded releasing her self from his grip she bid him good night and went to her room. After Betty and lily had a heartfelt conversation they both drifted to sleep. After a while lily woke up panting, but she was careful not to wake Betty up. She stood up and went outside, it was still dark but she was used to the darkness. She went by the trees and laid her back on one sighing at herself.
"Those blue eyes".
The next morning Betty woke up and turned but she couldn't find lily. she frowned thinking that maybe she was hallucinating, she ran down to check if Charles was still around. She met him in the kitchen and she sighed,
"Good morning" he smiled at her. she was confused
"Why is he cooking?"
"Where is lily?"
"Where are her parents?" she thought loudly.
"I felt like"
"She's outside"
"They had left for a meeting" he replied her questions
"Oh" as she sat down and Charles served her
"yummy"
"You really know how to cook"
"guess I'm qualified to be a good husband huh?" he said jokingly
"Not yet" she said smiling as she stuffed more food into her mouth.
Lily, charles and Betty had gone for a walk. Betty noticed there was something wrong about lily but she decided that she wouldn't bother her until she was ready to talk. Betty's phone buzzed, she looked at her phone. It was her dad.
"Hey dad"
"Darling could you come over to my brother's house" Her dad said
"Okay..." and he cut the call. She told lily she had to go while she glared at charles who was beaming with smiles.
Lily turned to Charles
"lets go shopping" and he intertwined their hands as they walked.
"Let's make this quick" Dilan said coldly.
Nix brought out his phone
"Liam lets go" they both turned to Dilan and left. The car was getting hot so Dilan loosened his tie as he stepped out of the car. He could already feel the piercing eyes of ladies who swoon over him.
He began to take a walk trying to ease him self of the heat. His phone beeped and he brought it out to check what it was.
His fist clenched as he read the message that his spies had sent him,
"Bang" Dilan held his temples as he looked up to see who had hit him. Lily stumbled a little bit but Charles was able to help her stand. when he was sure she was okay he glared at the man who was just staring at lily. Charles couldn't understand what was happening, the man kept a long stare at lily while diverse emotions ran through his eyes.
Lily kept her gaze on him not noticing the man beside her fuming.
"Can't you see where you are going?" Charles fumed
Dilan turned his gaze to Charles.
Charles took the opportunity and held lily's hand
"Sweet heart are you okay?" he asked
"Yes....yes...i am...fine" she replied not breaking her stare at Dilan.
"You sure" as he searched her body for wounds. When he saw none he kissed her forehead and turned to the man who just watched them blankly. The man moved as he walked away. lily ran over to the man
"I'm so sorry sir...." she said almost choking. She could feel the ominous aura oozing from this man. Lily couldn't help but admire this man, he was beyond beautiful. His lips shone red and his hair danced around his face. She looked into his eyes that seemed lifeless. His blue eyes
"Your eyes...." she muttered.
"Its fine" he replied coldly and he walked close to her, he tucked her hair behind her ears. Lily expected more but the man just turned and left her.
