Huh? I am alive!!?
I thought that I di... But.
When I regained my consciousness I found myself in an unknown place with lots of people gathered around glaring at me. they were looking at me like I am an uninvited guest and wanted to get rid of me quickly.
I was shocked by the fact that the way they were dressed was very familiar to the dresses that the magicians wore in the storybooks that I've browsed in the libraries, their costumes had a long cape along with a long embroidered traditional robe that the magicians from the ancient era used to wore.
I stood silent amused with my mouth wide open until somebody from the crowd spoke
"Are you done?"
"what?" I asked confused by his words. I turned around and saw a young boy probably around my age or maybe younger walking in "if you're done watching us then would you mind explaining? "
he asked irritatingly looking at me, seaming his hands.
he was surely unhappy with my presence and I also had no interest in staying there.
the place looked rather different from my world and I was curious to look around the place but what was the point in staying if the people there don't want me there.
" you should be the one explaining to me. why am I here? who bought me here?" I asked but no one answered soon after that boy responded to me amazed by my words
this time with a voice slightly relaxed than before ."I am Rickoph, the son of the head chief .it doesn't look like your an enemy or a spy but we still need to clarify your real identity."
my identity?
"I am Ku and I am from...from.?"
huh? I don't remember anything. I remember all the past movements but I can't seem to recall the details behind those memories.
why?
"What happened why aren't you answering were you lying about everything from the start? *bothered* I shouldn't have believed you"
"no, wait I am not lying. I don't remember anything " I replied nervously, scared about what is going to happen to me.
the people around were looking confused as if trying to buy what I replied.
I started feeling more and more anxious when an old man with wrinkles all over his face and spine narrowly bent supported by the wooden stick in his hand approached me
"if you are saying the truth then there is no need to worry about it and for now you should you should take some rest, it must have been a long journey," he said smiling at me, with a shivering tone. his voice felt warm with a kind warmth. from his appearence, it seems like might be in his 80s.
I was so touched by the fact that he was the only person who believed me from the moment I got there. in my previous life, I didn't have many people whom I can trust wholeheartedly.
it was just for a while, but I felt relieved that someone believes me.
"yes, I am glad that you believe me, I don't remember all the details of my memories but from what I remember I can tell that I am not from this location and I got here accidentally.
it surely wasn't accidentally the only reason why I got there but telling them the whole story and those incidents about which I am also not aware of would be useless
"accidentally?"
