"I didn't know what you like eating, so I ordered Steak with mashed potato," he says, moving the tray at the table.
"Thank you. It smells delicious," Myra replied, sitting on the couch. Tayler took a seat beside her.
The steak was so juicy that it melted in her mouth, and the mashed potato was creamy. She had been starving since the kidnapping.
The room was so silent. Myra wished Siena had been here. Well, now there was Tayler beside her. The awkward tension in the room felt so weird. To lessen it, she thought of having a conversation with him.
"So how did you become a spy," his spoon stops midair.
Wow, great question Myra! Her subconscious mocked. As if he is going to tell you.
"Haven't you heard that a spy never tells his secret," he smirks. Aghh, why does he have to be so perfect! What was wrong with her? She thought to herself.
"Sorry for asking you. I only wanted to have a conversation."
