The day was just starting and Louise was still sleep when Agnes burst into her room
"Lady Versailles !" Agnes
" Heh, what !?" Louise
"The Princess has been kidnapped !" Agnes exclaimes
"What !?" Louise
Scene change
"So this is the working place of Siesta ." Krum
"It's just like my school, except everyone is a noble." Horn
Everyone was here to see Siesta off except for Tiffa
"When we go home lets play magic hide and seek again !" Shera
Magic hide and go seek is a game Diablo made up for training Siesta and Shera
Rem had also started training so Shera wouldn't leave her behind, even though Rem was already stronger than her
Rem had worked with DIablo to use the concept of dark magic to create,and modify summoned beast
Also she started doing physical and ki training too
Diablo and the rest of the group were showing the Horn, Krum, and Edelguard around the school, when the group collided with Agnes, some soldiers, and Louise
"Diablo, I need to speak with you." Agnes said
"What is it ?" Diablo
"Come with me, I'll explain it on the way." Agnes
Scene change
Diablo and group stepped out of the building with the musketeer squadron and now they are in front of the school
"So the Princess was kidnapped how ?" Diablo asked
"Princess Henrietta was kidnapped last night as she was going to bed, we didn't find out until morning." Agnes said
Everyone took a moment to stare at Agnes
Finally Shera spoke the obvious question
"How do you kidnap the ruler of a nation from their castle ?" Shera
Even the one who catches on to things slower than others, Shera, figured out that doesn't even make sense
Irritation once again presented itself to Diablo, Rem also got annoyed by this
"From her own castle.....She was kidnapped from her own castle ?" Rem
"Yes, the Princesswas kidnapped from the castle from a spy we believe." Agnes
"I thought Diablo was just being hard on you guys, but I see you people are truly incompetent, you're telling me that a national castle filled with guards, combat
trained servants and plenty of other safety precautions, still failed to protect the
most important person there ? And on top of all of that this wasn't even known until just a few hours ago ?" Rem
Agnes was irked by Rem's accusation but now wasn't the time to argue, she needed all the help she could get from Diablo so she humbled herself
"Yes, it is how you say...." Agnes
"Rem, Diablo please help us." Louise asked
"Do you have any idea of where the kidnapper may have gone ?" Rem
"Yes, towards the direction of the water spirit." Agnes answered
Rem turned to Diablo and whispered into his ear
"I think we should help them, if we do this, this would be a chance remind them they owe us for the many times we helped them." Rem
Diablo nodded, and then counted how many times he helped this nation
Fouqet
Wardes
Albion army
and now this kidnapping
"Okay I'll help, but this will be added to this nation's debt to me, this will now be the fourth favor owed to me." Diablo
Agnes and Louise were shocked, but Louise smiled
Agnes didn't look pleased
"You think this nation owes you ?" Agnes asked with attitude
"Yes it does actually, the problem with Fouqet, we almost died facing Wardes in Albion and the only reason this country survived the invasion of Reconquista is because of Diablo, not you or your beyond pathetic army." Rem said rubbing the last part in
"Fine !" Agnes said while being flustered from the embarrassment
Another scene change
It started to rain
Princess Henrietta was holding Prince Wales back while fleeing on a horse
Henrietta's knights were the ones chasing them
"Stop right now !" "You cannot escape
Wales aimed his wand at the pursuers and fired a wind spell at them, blowing them off of their horses
A sinister smile came onto Wales face
"What that really necessary, they are my knights ?" Henrietta said with a hint of sadness
"I won't let anyone get in between us." Wales
Getting closer and closer to them was Diablo's group who just came out of the skies
Diablo had used his earth magic to create a piece of land large enough for both his group, and Agnes, and used the earth magic to make the piece of land fly over to the Princess
"What type of magic is this ?" Agnes said
"Diablo is a Demon Lord after all." Shera
"He may be a Demon Lord, but nothing like my master." Edelgaurd said while crossing her arms, face slightly blushing
"If I am your master and Diablo is my master, then doesn't that mean he is your master too ?" Krum
"W-Well yes...but...I suppose their is no arguing it..."
"Hey Rem you said this ring could bring back the dead right ?" Horn asked
"Yes
Diablo landed not too far from Henrietta and Wales
"Stay back !" Henrietta shouted
"We've come to save you." Louise
"I don't need to be saved, I have chosen to go to Albion with Wales." Henrietta
"Wales is dead Princess, I seen it back in Albion with my own eyes." Louise said with a face filled with grief
"No ! That was his double, the real Wales is right here." Henrietta
"You heard her, she's coming with me." Wales said with a grin filled with ill intent
"He feels dead to me, I can sense that he is only a walking corpse." Krum said
The rain began to pour
"No he isn't ! No, I won't accept that, he told me he would love me for all of eternity
Louise have you ever loved someone from the bottom of your heart ?
If you have then you would give up everything for them, even your name, your dignity, status or even family; That is why I have chosen to leave with Wales." Henrietta said
" A ruler who leads with her emotions....are you one of those people forced to become a ruler from a young age ?" Krum asked
Krum was ignored, Louise answered Henrietta
"That isn't the man you love, he is a ghost, created by the ring of Aanvari.
As your friend I have to tell you....wake up." Louise said sadly
Henrietta's face turned from one that was hanging on to hope to anger
"And as your Queen I will give you one last order : give us the way." Henrietta
"You heard your Queen, we only wish to pass." Wales smirked
Louise could only make a pitiful face
"Tsk...What a disrespectful wench." Diablo said stepping up
"I didn't know Wales for long, but what I could tell from what I heard about him is that he stood up for what he believed in.
He sounded like he was proud and not afraid
of bearing the truth, even keeping his head high
knowing his whole family was dead, for the sake of his nation, but I guess he may have been too good for you." Diablo
"What do you mean !? " Henrietta said laced with anger at Diablo's words
"I bet Wale's soul is in tears right now, crying out for you to stop pretending this imposter is actually him.
Wales sounded like a man of virtue, but you actually condone something like this.
You are allowing this imposter to wear his face, ruining his reputation, ruining his good name, and you stand there and continue to let the memories of Wales to tarnish. THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF DISRESPECT TO THE ONES YOU CARE FOR !" Diablo
"But... He's right here..." Henrietta was cut off
by Rem
"Wales is wanted dead in his own country, would he want you to come with him to such a dangerous country ?" Rem
"What would you know about Wales." Henrietta said coldly
"I don't know anything about Wales, but I do know about love.
And when you truly love someone from the
bottom of your heart, you want to protect
them and although you're willing to give up
your pride, dignity, status or anything for that person.....You want to protect their pride, dignity, status or anything that has to do with that person." Rem said touching the part of her chest that her heart is and thinking about Diablo
She thought about how Diablo's dignity must
have hurt from being thought as a slave
owner, how Diablo constantly put his life on
the line and for what ? For a girl deemed a
curse to the world, and lastly how Shera and
herself nearly hurt Diablo's pride by summoning him and nearly making him a slave...The mistake Louise made when she summoned Diablo, that mistake that made Diablo hate her at first.
That was another reason Rem felt so much pity for Louise, if she and Shera had succeeded in making Diablo their slave what would have happened ? Would Diablo had hated Rem and Shera ? That's why Rem pushed hard to get Diablo to give Louise a second chance
"Diablo...." Rem whispered forgetting the situation at hand and thinking deeply
" I would have still helped if you would have asked. I thought we were past that." Diablo
To her surprise, Diablo actually read her mind for once
"Diablo..." Rem said about to tear up
"Stop thinking about useless things, this is about someone else." Edelgard said
"That's right and we already wasted enough time, this discussion is over let us past !" Wales said lifting his wand, and throwing an wind spell at Diablo
Diablo raised Derflinger up and blocked the spell with his sword, the spell negated
Something Diablo learned recently
"Wait Diablo I would like to check the strength of this world." Krum said
Diablo moved out of the way, but said
"Preserve his body."
"I'll try, I just want to test the strength of someone from this world." Krum said while walking up
"Did she just say "of this world" as if she isn't from this world originally, I thought only three of you were summoned ?" Agnes asked Rem
As Krum walked closer to Wales Henrietta shouted
"Stay away from Wales !" and used her royal scepter to cast a spell
A spiky wall of ice formed in front of Krum
Krum punched the wall of ice and it shattered, ice shards flew everywhere
"This is so weak it is disappointing."Krum
"Hey Krum was it ? Would it bee alright if you let Louise try out one of her void spells ?" Derflinger
"Hmm...Void magic, sounds interesting, okay I would like to see that." Krum said
"What void spells ? The book has blank..." Louise was saying, but when she opened the book words appeared on the pages and flew into Louise's mind
Louise started to chant
"Take this and die !" Wales shouted
Henrietta and Wales both put their hands on the scepter and used a spell
"Water and Wind !" Henrietta and Wales
A white tornado the size of a two story house formed in front of Krum
The groups couldn't see each other from each side, even so Wales was sure that this spell would be enough to put Krum down
"Hexagon magic, only able to be used by the royal family, we are invincible." Wales said with a grin
Krum on her side, her hand glowed purple and she touched the winds of the tornado
The tornado dissipated
"Impossible" soldiers around gasped
"Heh heh heh I heard you say your invincible...now it's y turn to-" Krum was stopped by Louise shouting the name of her spell
"Dispel !" Louise
White lightning came from Louise's Wand and shot into the rain clouds over Wales and Henrietta
That streak of white lightning came down bigger than when it went up, and electrocuted Wales
"AAHAHHAHAG Guk" Was the noises Wales made before falling over
"Wales !" Henrietta shouted and rushed to his side
" Hey Princess.... I'm glad I get to see you before I pass....." The real Wales said
"No, your not going to die, promise me you will love me forever, promise we will be together for all of eternity." Henrietta said almost pleading
"I cannot...." Wales
"If you were the real Wales, you would make the oath and follow through it !" Henrietta said crying
"The deceased cannot fulfill their promises from the grave Princess." Wales
"Wales....no....your going to be-"
"I am glad to have met you. You gave me another reason to fight instead of cower and run from my problems." Wales
"Wales." Henrietta said thinking back to all of their moments shared together, nights walking at this very lake
"I need you to make a promise to me now." Wales told Henrietta
" Yes....What is it Wales I'll do anything." Henrietta said while crying
Wales smiled and said
"Promise me you will fall in love with another person." Wales
Everyone was shocked at Wales words
"What ? How could you expect something like that from me ? I only love you !" Henrietta
"Promise me." Wales
"I said I won't !" Henrietta
"Henrietta....I'm all out of time...But I want you to know that....while I was alive....I truly loved you." Wales said before losing the strength in his body
"Wales." Henrietta
"Wales !" Henrietta
"Wake up, you won't die..( Sobs ) you promised" Henrietta sobbed
Henrietta whaled and whaled again
Everyone felt sad for Henrietta, but couldn't say anything
Henrietta's cries could be heard from miles away
