Chapter 153 - Chapter 153

The people who attended the meeting of the Warlords didn't find it as boring as it would.

Hancock and Robin stared at Josh and Mihawk as they made their way out, both seeming to be challenging.

Their fighting spirit had rendered everyone shut as the two had stood up and walked through the door.

"You two can't fight near," Tsuru said, advising the two not to fight in the backyard of the marines.

"It's too small." Josh, who was having his hands in his black coat's pockets, said while walking next to Mihawk.

Mihawk gave a slight nod. "There is a forest outside. The terrain is good for you."

"If you want, we can take it to the sea," Josh said.

"I rather not try to have an advantage on you," Mihawk said. For the strongest swordsman in the world, having a worthy opponent was a rare occasion. Being at the top had made him barely meet someone on his level. Finding someone who doesn't only have a high level, but has a well-crafted sword that he had never heard or seen about, gave Mihawk hope.

Although the two looked calm, there were sparks of excitement.

Josh was excited for a different reason. It was because of the gamble the system had given him, or rather, the rewards offered for him.

Still, it wouldn't be easy. As Josh had remembered, Mihawk had trained Zoro, who could beat commanders of Yonkos. Not to mention that Mihawk used to spare with Red Hair Shanks, who is one of the strongest people in the world.

'Now you talk like samurai. Not talking about my manhood anymore?' Josh raised his eyebrow. 'What was that supposed to mean?'

It wouldn't be an easy task, Josh knew. He could tell that by the great rewards that the system had offered him. It means that he may die really. Nevertheless, Josh is very talented.

Josh, last night, after he had figured a way to hack through the system rewards system, did one thing.

It was raising his abilities.

[Physical Talent 1000% superior ]

[ Spiritual Talent 1000% Superior ]

Although talent in training progress slowly when one reaches a high level, Josh would learn more from this fight.

[Berserk Constitution (Good Tier)] it was upgraded from the average tier. Josh would have better over his instinct and gets better power-ups as the battle goes on.

Too bad that his money was over, otherwise, he would have done more.

Josh and Mihawk left the base. Few marines and warlords followed them, but they didn't get too near. Some high ranked advised the young marines to stay away from the Warlords. If they were caught in their fight, they would lose their life. Meanwhile, Akainu decided to stay. He had to see how strong is Josh with his eyes. After all, Josh hadn't been strong enough to fight Vice Admiral when Akainu had thought he had killed Josh.

'Let's see how the little shit got strong.'

Meanwhile, as everyone stood on the edge of the base, a figure appeared. On the top of a wall, a pretty female figure of a blond appeared, standing. She was holding a bag, and she was staring in the two swordsmen direction. Looking at her mask and pink necktie on the top of her dress, it's easy to say that she is a CP0 agent.

"Let's see, now. Fufufufu…" Doflamingo laughed a bit.

Meanwhile, Hancock stood there, anxiously biting on her nails. She was so fast now, giving the effect of the pills she had taken. She could out-speed the best warlord here… making her the best. But, Josh had told her to stay on the corner. She felt fear, worried for him.

"Don't worry," Robin whispered in her ear.

When Hancock looked at her, Robin continued. "We'll interfere if things seemed to go bad."

Hancock gave a slight nod. Robin's lips curled up to a smile before she stared at the two men who get a few hundreds of meters away from everyone.

-x-X-x-

Surrounded by the trees, a hill behind Josh, Mihawk stared at the man who stood 10 meters away from him.

"Good for you." Mihawk reached his back and grabbed the great sword on his back. It was almost as tall as Mihawk, who was 198 cm tall. No, the sword is a little taller.

The grip of the sword was yellow and big. It made a shape of a big cross, with a blue jewel on its top. The blade was black and curved.

This should be the best sword in the world.

"Good enough."

Josh reached his back, wrapping his hand under the demon's head on the top of his sword.

Holding the grip of the Great Devil Sword, Josh stared slowly at Mihawk.

"Shall we start…"

Josh smirked a bit. He could feel his heart pounding when Mihawk asked to start. But his face was as calm as the surface of a frozen lake.

*Swish*

*Swish*

The two of them grabbed their sword from their back at a blinking speed.

Between them, winds surged. A big spark appeared as the swords energies clashed against each other, dust flying up.

The dust was soon cleaned up, revealing both Josh and Mihawk. Josh was holding his sword with two hands, pressing down against the black blade of Mihawk.

The duel of two grandmasters started.

The swords started shaking as their masters were pushing, great yellow sparks appearing.

Mihawk, gently, took a step to the side, letting the slightly shorter man pass by the power of momentum. Mihawk, jumping slightly at a blinking speed, circled around Josh and lifted his greatsword, slashing down at Josh, who stopped moving 5 meters away.

Sensing the danger, Josh squatted down. The trees behind him, a full forest, were cut in half. Josh smirked when he turned to Mihawk and waved the blade, producing 200 meters long curved arc that should swallow Mihawk.

Mihawk pointed with his sword to the side, not seeming to be fazed by the great sword energy that threatened to swallow him.

Mihawk extended his sword forward, pointing toward the sword energy. When the tip of the black touched it, Mihawk gently waved flipped his sword.

The greatsword energy, which Josh used his power behind it, was reflected in one second, heading toward Josh. Mihawk, just in a very gently way, could reflect such a strong attack.

Josh felt a sweat drop under his chin. Mihawk had used a very advanced technique that he hadn't seen. Using Shave, he dodged his own attack, and just a meter to the side of his slash, a great slit appearing on the ground.

"You deserve your title," Josh smirked. The hill behind him was cut in half. Josh barely needed to look at it to know that.

"We barely started." Mihawk's eyes became sharp focused, seizing every movement and every breath from Josh.

Josh put his fist next to his head, pointing with his thumb in index forward. He then pointed with his sword to Mihawk and squatted. "Guess few air slashes aren't useful against people in our league. How about the real deal then."

"Show me your skills." Mihawk span his sword and held it with both hands.
