Chereads / My Husband : I’m Still Second / Chapter 19 - The Controller

Chapter 19 - The Controller

Farel gripped Rani's fingers as soon as the girl got out of the car. He smiled happily remembering today was the day he had been waiting for and Rani of course.

"I'll clean my body and change into more polite clothes, after that, we go to your parents' house," Farel said while kissing the back of Rani's hand sweetly.

Rani's skin is smooth and pure white, which is what Farel likes. Moreover, the citrus aroma emitted from Rani's body adds a refreshing calm air, the scent that he likes the most because yes, I don't know, it is intoxicating.

"I'll just wait in the car, you won't be long, after all, honey. Unless you prepare like a girl like me, it will certainly take some time." Rani muttered with a sweet smile. She was nervous this time. For some reason, she was so anxious about this meeting. Even though Farel had often visited or played at her parents' house.

Farel shook his head, disapproving of the girl's opinion. "You have to go to my house, honey. Have breakfast with Ijah first, then we will go," he said very, very gently, of course, he wouldn't let his girlfriend wait in the car, wouldn't treat a girl well, would he?

"You know that Ijah never liked me. Instead of me being uncomfortable, it's better to just wait here, honey..." Rani whispered. It's true, none of Farel's family likes her. Either they think of her as just a pest in Farel's life, or they always think badly of her appearance.

Is everyone going to reproach a woman with fashionable clothes? Yes, open clothes with dresses sometimes showing their smooth back have become very common clothes among girls of her age, especially since the Brahmana family is very respected. They couldn't have been embarrassed by their appearance, which was perfect when Farel brought her to meet his big colleagues, right?

"Don't be like that, honey. You know if they don't know you any further. Don't listen to anything they say, if I still choose me it will be a consequence." said Farel while kissing the top of Rani's head, grabbing the nape of his girl to be stroked very sweetly.

Rani sighed as she listened to Farel's words. "I'll just back off, okay? Everything hurts, I'm only viewed badly like this, Farel. They don't understand how to be in my position. Of course, I'm hurt," she said in a low tone.

"No, I will quickly end all of this. You take it easy, don't worry too much. Either way, Farel is for Rani and vice versa."

"Don't keep giving me hope, Farel. Give me real proof, I don't need promises without proof."

"I'll prove it to you, okay? You have to believe me,"

Seeing Farel's earnestness printed in his two eyes made Rani's chest cavity warm as if there were thousands of butterflies flying. "Hope you don't lie, I hate someone who will forget their promise later." She said with a look in her eyes that began to calm down but there was no denying that there were a few worried patches on her eyeballs.

"Don't worry, if that happens you just need to wake me up from the mistake of choosing the path to anchor."

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

Farel approached his face with Rani's face. Staring closely at those luscious lips, then sweetly crushing them made Rani's body go limp but no doubt she replied to Farel's crush.

Rani released their grip, then held Farel's neck to kiss him more deeply.

"FAREL!"

Quickly, they ended the kiss with ragged breaths when they heard the shriek, which of course was very familiar. They looked at each other, saw Zulfa who flashed a look of disappointment.

But instead of feeling guilty, Farel kissed Rani's lips again. After that, he tightly gripped the girl's hand, without the slightest sinful face. "Don't mind her," he said as he brought Rani into the house, past the figure of a woman who was very brave to witness a scene like this.

Rani had met Zulfa's eyes, she smiled mockingly and whispered something into the woman's ear with a pleasant tone that was typical of dropping.

"You lost to me, Zulfa."

They were already inside the house, leaving Zulfa still glued to the front yard. Farel saw Ijah who was surprised by Rani's arrival at this house, again.

"Sir, do you want to breakfast?" Ijah asked, trying not to look at Rani sarcastically. Please, she doesn't like women whose only job is to steal people's husbands. Ah, not stealing, Rani has been in Farel's life for a long time, but she should still know herself and let Farel go and leave it to his wife who has done everything to give her rights and obligations.

Farel shook his head, not feeling hungry at all. "Please treat Rani well and prepare a portion of breakfast for her. Don't provide the food that Zulfa made for my lover, you can make an American Breakfast menu for Rani. I don't accept rejection," he said in a firm tone. He seems to have to warn Ijah about her attitude towards Rani.

After all, Rani is his lover. She does not deserve to be treated harshly or looked down upon.

Ijah nodded, she understood very well that if Farel changed the intonation of his voice, she would enter an unsafe situation. "Okay, sir. Rani, you can sit on the chair first to wait for my breakfast menu to finish." She said in a flat tone while looking at Rani who was busy hugging Farel's arms.

It felt like Ijah wanted to push Rani's body and shouted 'FAREL ALREADY HAS A WIFE, RELEASE HIM!'. But the sentence can only be thrown into the heart without daring to say it.

If Farel can casually stab Zulfa with all kinds of harsh treatment, why can't Rani get something comparable? On the contrary, they are treated with affection and tenderness.

Rani bends her smile, then nudges Farel's waist to get defense for Ijah's nature to her.

Farel cleared his throat and looked at Ijah coldly. "Please treat Rani well, or I will quit your job as a housekeeper here," he says who always obeys what Rani says, even a wife has not dared to order this and that.

Rani smiled with satisfaction when she saw the look of fear that was printed on the surface of Ijah's face. Ah, everything becomes very easy if he is with Farel. Anything impossible becomes possible, just say what she wants, and the next second it becomes a reality.

"Thank you, honey," Rani muttered while kissing Farel's cheek. She stepped forward and immediately sat on the dining chair without discussing Ijah further, waiting for a sumptuous meal to be served to her.

Just imagine, this morning Zulfa cooked uduk rice, orek tempeh, omelet, and balado eggs. What kind of food is that? Certainly, Farel will not touch it, let alone Rani. He had bad thoughts, it's only natural that 80% of him are not residents, but he is a resident who prefers to live in Indonesia.

Sorry, he's used to eating fancy food. I don't mean to be arrogant, but this is reality from a negative point of view that is in Farel's mind.

"I'm getting ready first. If Zulfa is acting weird to you, just tell me," said Vrans, sending the message first.

Rani nods, understanding her lover's words. Of course, this made Farel smile happily then he started up the stairs to his room and started cleaning his body to meet Rani's parents.

"You're the controller."

Rani turned to Ijah and smiled sweetly when she realized that the middle-aged woman was talking to her, ah no, maybe more of a satisfied smile?

"That's me, Farel's controller. So, be careful. And remember, I will soon take Zulfa's place in this house. So, learn to be polite to me."

"Don't be a sly and annoying girl, God has a thousand and one ways to help Mrs. Zulfa."

"Please? Maybe you have been brainwashed with that woman in hijab."

"Even Zulfa is holier than you, Rani."

"Holy or not certainly can not be measured by appearance, Ijah."

"No, I don't mind your clothes at all. But your overbearing attitude makes you forget to have manners, remember that bad luck always awaits the greedy people in the world."

Hearing Ijah, who seemed to be about to start short advice in the morning, of course, made Rani roll her eyes immediately. She racked her brains and seemed better off diverting the conversation.

"Ijah, better make me breakfast, don't talk too much unnecessarily."

"What a very sneaky controller,"

Rani puts her cellphone on the dining table, then taps her fingers with beautiful fake nails on the table.

"The mansion that will soon be mine, ah I can't wait." She muttered, pulling a lopsided smile.

She is too smart to control all feelings. To her, who had it first, would receive the result. There is no goodbye without a trigger, and the most dangerous trigger is Zulfa.

Still wants to support Zulfa who should be a woman who is labeled badly by many people because she has damaged her relationship with Farel.

So, are you ready to play with this controller?

"If you want to play, I say welcome. And that welcome has been in effect since your arrival, Zulfa."

There was no relationship that a third person wanted to break, and neither did she. Because the destroyer, only applies to disposal, has no function.

Is it suitable to be given to Zulfa, or vice versa?
