One thing Zulfa knows right now is that a marriage that should only happen once in a lifetime is now falling apart. She is a woman who is steadfast in her beliefs with religion, carrying out all God's commands to stay straight on the path of truth while improving herself to be a better person than before.
In what other way must she do to change the course of this stifling fate? Even wanting to protest feels like going against God's will, right?
She tries to look beautiful even though her beauty is not like other women, yes this is in her view. She is quite insecure with herself.
She is a hijab woman.
Meanwhile, her husband, Farel Putra Brahmana, prefers women with revealing clothes. What should she do now?
Removing the hijab is certainly not a solution for all. Because she had made a promise to herself when she chose to wear the hijab, she instilled it in her heart like 'kunfayakun'. Anything and anyone who opposes her hijab, then she will accept all the consequences.
Because she knows, God never sleeps. And will always provide a bright light for her life which is getting messy with this directionless marriage.
Armed with determination and patience that is quite draining, she becomes a tough woman. There wasn't much to do, she wasn't a woman who showed deep feelings of sadness. Only she felt how to swallow the bitterness of all this.
Making other people believe that she is okay is a new hobby for her. Even with her fake smile, she could brag about how nice Farel was to her. The opposite is true, sadly.
So, however, and whatever Farel treats her, she must endure this marriage patiently, lillahi ta'ala.
But, she doesn't know what will happen in the future considering how rude Farel Putra Brahmana who never considers her presence.
