"Tartarus?" Officer Scott repeated. "I thought Tartarus was a boy? How can it be a world?"
Jeff was looking at Officer Scott with pity. It might probably be the first time for him to meet someone who knows so little about literature.
"Tartarus is a primordial god. He is the god of doom and he reigns over the abyss also known as Tartarus." Ed elaborated for Officer Scott's benefit.
"Primordial god?" Officer Scott repeated and Jeff shook his head.
"Primordial means..." Jeff started to explain but he was rudely brushed off by the same person.
"I know what primordial means. At least I am not that dumb." Officer Scott whispered, clearly embarrassed by his lack of knowledge.
Ed had to turn so that his grin wouldn't show. I know that both he and Jeff were making Officer Scott uncomfortable on purpose just to get back at him for his rudeness.
"So who is Nyx?" Officer Scott asked again but was now pacing up and down the kitchen.
