A grown man? That really made me think of something. Could it be possible that he was not the one who was actually hurting Faceless Jane?
I guess me and Ed had the same thought since he was the one who actually said it.
"Could it be possible that there is someone else who is doing the murder?"
Officer Scott and Uncle Jess seemed to have considered this question seriously.
"That's a possibility." Officer Scott agreed. "If he was that young, he would not have any means of acquiring the people that he had killed."
"What else can you remember about him?" Officer Scott turned to me again and waited.
"I remember that we became friends and that I would willingly go back to the forest to meet him. But he always made me promise not to let anyone know about our friendship. I remember always feeling happy whenever I was about to meet him."
"He never caused you to fear him?" Officer Scott asked.
