The weekend ended pleasantly. Em and Henry drove before us since Henry got an emergency call from the hospital.
I promised them that I will take them to my children the next time that they spend the weekend over. This made Emily extremely happy.
Jeff and Bry, who drove in Jeff's car left while I was still saying goodbye to mom and dad.
"Helena, let us know if you need anything okay?"
"I will mom, don't worry."
"Don't keep everything to yourself. Share your burden, if not with Ed then with us."
"I will. I promise."
They just nodded but I can see doubts lingering in their eyes. Well, I can't really blame them since my track record was really not great when it comes to treating my family like a family. I sighed as I thought of the many things that I had to make up for them.
Ed led me away. I could see worry in his eyes so I smiled at him.
