I was a little unsettled after those words but I hid it with a smile. I tightly hugged him in response to his words and dragged him out.
"I'm famished." I told him with a grin which he returned though I can see questions behind his smile.
We ate a hurried meal since mom called and told us that we better be on our way if we wanted to spend thanksgiving with them. Ed's parents apparently spent the night with them.
We were on our way and I felt myself getting drowsy. When Ed saw this, he reached out and made me lean onto his shoulders.
"You wore her out!" Bryanna accused.
"She wore me out too." Ed admitted.
"So everything went well?" Bry asked, nervousness evident in her voice.
"What do you mean by that?"
"You know that Ashton accused her of being rigid right?"
He laughed, "I pity him for being a fool."
"Now I'm jealous." Bry muttered.
