I woke up with a start and felt something stopping me from sitting up. This made me scream with fear.
They still have me! My mind screamed and went blank. I wanted to open my eyes but I whenever I do, my entire world spins.
Someone was trying to wrap their arms around me and I struggled desperately.
"Please. Don't. You promised not to hurt me." I whimpered and begged. I continued to struggle until the person was forced to let me go. When that happened, I immediately tried to stand up but ended up falling back down because of dizziness.
"Love?" A voice called me. That voice!
" Ed!" Great relief evident in my voice. I did not have to open my eyes to recognize that voice. I think I will always be able to recognize that voice wherever and whenever.
"Yes! Its me. Please don't be scared, I'm here. I won't let anyone harm you." he promised and then said, "I'm sorry. I did a poor job in protecting you."
