None of the Kempt's showed up after that incident. And it made me relax a little and start thinking that my life might start to pick up its normal pace again.
I did not start working immediately. Henry said that I need to rest for a bit since it was my dominant hand that was affected. He also said that it would be best for me to let everything rest for at least a week. That way the curious eyes of other people who knew about the incident will be less intense. And that what ever trauma that I might have had from the incident will at least ease off a little.
Mom and dad stayed the entire week that I was at home. Emily and Henry always made sure to visit. They are becoming fast friends. My parents even invited the Hunt's over at their place. I felt so happy seeing how genuine and warm the interaction is between my parents and Ed's.
