Bry was quiet after hearing my soft words. She could not deny the fact that I have disappointed them, especially our parents.
"I don't blame any of you babe." I clarified. I can see myriad of emotions going through her face and the most prominent of all was guilt. And I can't have her feeling that way over a decision no one forced me to take.
"I would still do what I did if I was given a chance to redo my life." I assured her. I just saw her force a smile to stop me from worrying about her too much. And respecting that, I followed along by giving her a smile of my own.
"Where was Kempt when this happened?" Ed asked. Fury evident in his quiet voice.
"He never told me but I received a picture from an unknown number showing me that he was with Lucy during those times that I was recuperating." I whispered.
