Jeff placed his arms around Bry who was agitated. She was shaking and crying at the same time.
"Jeff, let's leave." Ed hollered. I saw Jeff urged Bryanna away.
"This will not do her good for people to know what happened, you know that." Jeff told her gently. "I know you are upset and have bottled that up for a long time already but think about her. She is just starting. Let us not do anything to harm or hurt her. No matter how well intended our actions seems to be, there will always be a repercussion." he added while cupping Bryanna's face gently to make her look at him.
The way he treated Bryanna made me happy amidst this chaos. I know Jeff will be good for her. This thought brought great comfort. I hugged Bry the moment she went inside the car.
"I'm sorry for hurting you." I whispered, "I love you to the moon and back."
"Idiot." was her only response.
