Ericka looked at me, curiosity brimming from her eyes. I just smiled at her and sat down. I plugged my earphones so that I won't be disturbed. I worked like the devil was after me that I flinched when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I saw Ericka scowling so I took off the ear phones.
"I've been talking at you and looking like a fool since I am not getting a response from you." she hissed.
"I'm sorry. Is there something that you want?" I asked.
"Your phone has been ringing for the past few minutes. I must be important." she said and turned her back on me to go back to her table.
I immediately took out my phone and saw that it was Bryanna so I called her back.
"Babe!" I greeted her which made Ericka look at me in surprise, "Is something wrong?"
"I'm starting tomorrow." she simply said.
"I know you are going to nail it. This definitely call for a celebration. See you at home!" I was happy for her.
