Its her!
I was about to leave quietly so that she will not notice me but it was too late. She caught Ericka's expression when she was looking at me. She turned and saw me.
I saw a myriad of expression fleeting across her face. Disdain, contempt, hatred and derision all cross her face. I felt myself being transported to how it was when we were still married. That was just how she looked at me before.
I wonder what she and Ericka were talking about. I hoped that she did not tell Ericka about how we were once related. Ericka is the last person that I want to know that I was once married to Ashton since I knew that she wanted him for herself.
"You are no longer married to my son. That means that you are no longer part of our family. So I want you to not tell anyone of your relationship with Ashton. We don't know each other. Do you hear me?" were her words when she visited me in the hospital.
That was the last time I saw and heard from her.
