"What do you mean our son is the one in grave danger?" Aunt Em asked hysterically.
"It's Helena that he is after. It is because of Helena that he has committed such atrocious acts." Uncle Henry added.
"Yes, it is exactly because of Helena." Uncle Jess agreed. "It is also because he possibly sees your son as someone who would stop him from getting Helena. That would make him his number one enemy."
We were all silent. I have to admit Uncle Jess does have a point. He is trying to get me in some twisted way.
He regards me as his hearth. Someone that brings him light.
"Uncle Jess, do you think I can still go back to work?" I asked.
This question caught everyone off guard. They seemed to expect that I would just stay at home and wait. Well I have no plans of doing that. None at all.
"I don't think that is a safe idea, Helena." Uncle Jess argued.
"I need to go back to work." I argued back stubbornly.
