When I heard this, I knew right there and then that what I thought was a dream turned out to be real.
He was telling the truth. Because of this realization, I opened my eyes. This turned out to be a huge mistake.
I didn't even notice that I was screaming. My screams were so loud that the other officers thought that I got hurt and came back in to check.
"Get out!" The elderly officer bellowed. "She will be in more shock if all of you keep on ogling at her."
They all went out immediately upon that forceful command.
I kept screaming. My mind can not comprehend the horrific scene in front of me.
There was blood everywhere. Splattered across the walls. Some were pooled on the floor. What was worse was that, there were still blood dripping from above.
"Don't look up, love." Ed pleaded nervously.
I looked at him in confusion. I did not understand why he would not let me look up.
