Th door of my room opened and I saw Ed's parents coming inside. Jeff went to them immediately and was engulfed in a warm hug by Emily.
"Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, I would like you to meet Bryanna Smith. Helena's sister and best friend." Jeff introduced Bry.
But the tone in his voice seemed like he was introducing his girlfriend and this did not escape both doctors. But they did not say anything, they just greeted Bry warmly.
"Ed, Helena? You both seemed to have missed telling us something." Henry suddenly announced.
We looked at each other, both confused and trying to rack our brains as to what it was that we missed. But we both were drawing a blank so we just shrugged.
"You seemed to have missed telling us that scalding hot coffee was intentionally poured onto her hand. You made it seem like it was an accident." Henry decided to clear our confusion.
