Later that night, she arrived home very late. It was almost midnight. But what greeted her almost made her collapse. The lights of her villa were all turned on and it almost made her house a kin to a disco ball. The lights were flashing all over the place as she approached the villa entrance. She was already annoyed by what had transpired today. On top of that, she was extremely exhausted. So, the pesky fly who was responsible for this will surely face her wrath.
When she got to the door, she hastily and silently opened it, for she didn't want to draw any attention. She quietly moved as slow as she could pointing her gun in front of her.
Looking around the house, it appeared to be completely empty. She almost thought that some ghosts were having a party and she was the party pooper.
But that didn't lower her guard. She said on her heart that she would surely find that fly and make them regret what they had done. A few minutes later, all the lights turned off without warning.
At that exact moment, her deathly aura started spilling all over the place and her guard tripled. While in her trance, she was startled by a sudden hug she received from the back. The pesky ant didn't let go as she tried to shake it off. Actually she had had an idea of who it might be. And yes, it was him her ex- boyfriend, Troy.
And then he tightened his grip and whispered with his masculine voice ever so close to her ear.
"Did you not miss me?" Hearing that, she immediately, lashed at him and kicked him in his tummy which made him groan in pain. By that awful smile, he used to flash at her appeared vividly on his face.
"You are still feisty as ever. I like you even more."
"Are you looking for a death wish? Leave now while I'm still sane, otherwise, I'll feed you to my wolves."
"You hate me that much,huh?"
"Oh, so a realisation has just hit you," she said sarcastically when she added.
"You are as good as dead to me. After that night, you sealed you fate. So while I'm still tolerating you leave my house right now."
She was so angry that she wanted to kill someone that moment but she couldn't stain her hands with his dirty blood.
Realising that she was completely serious judging by the killing intent in her eyes, he immediately left cursing in his heart. He had been damn not to treasure her and now he would face her wrath.
Just like that everything was back to normal. Even her lights were back on.
Her butler, Simone, walked to her agree she'd made a quick phone call.
She glared at him and said,
" Fire all the security stuff and replace them all. If anything like this happens again your heads will be rolling down this hill."
She immediate left leaving the butler trembling in fear.
