I wake up to loud footsteps all around me and try to get up, but two arms tightly lock around my waist again.
"Just a little longer... until everyone's out of the bus..." the guy who's holding me says.
'Even if he is cute, this is kind of creepy.' I think.
Thirty seconds pass, then his grip loosens and he lets me slide back into my seat. I wonder if people were looking at us as they passed to get off the bus.
Grabbing my bookbag, I look down at the cute guy as he grabs his bag. He looks so oddly familiar. Then it hits me.
"Ronnie?"
He stops and looks up at me. It's been years since I've seen him. We used to live in the same neighborhood before me and my parents moved.
"What're you doing here?" I ask.
He looks at me for moment then answers, "Its been so long, so when I heard you were coming to here I just had to see you." He smiles and so do I. He's just like I remember him.
Ronnie was sort of like a big brother to me ever since we were kids so stuff like this technically shouldn't surprise me. But it does anyway. He used to only do things like this if I were super upset or something like that. Not if I just looked cold.
Ronnie stands up and looks down at me. "We should go, we're gonna be late to class."
Grabbing my hand, he leads me out of the bus and towards the school.
