Next Day.
I was waiting in the dressing room currently, matchups were released a hour ago and i can only say that i was very lucky! I was in only matchup where there wasn't one of the prodigies, so that meant that if i would win this match, in the quarterfinals i would have to face one of the prodigies no matter what (if they won't lose in round of 16 which is very unlikely).
Round of 16 Raizo Sulfide (Town of Arc) VS Lucas Bravecore (City of Arkas)
This round was randomized that way that prodigies wouldn't be against each other, quite unfair i know, i am not sure did they do same with me, because i am so called Prodigy Candidate apparently, i guess they want the rest of the tournament be quite of a show.
Quarterfinals will still be randomized, but after that Winners of Match Nr.1 and Match.2 will be fighting against each other in semifinals and Winners of Match Nr.3 will be fighting against winner of Match Nr.4.

Raizo made the first move, he has only one goal in this match is to win without wasting too much stamina, so he will focus on physical ability this time! Quite risky, since Raizo isn't that powerful with using only his body, but that is only if he fought against one of the prodigies, Lucas was another story. Raizo can't defeat him with only his physical body, but he can save his stamina more with this way.
Raizo rushed towards close proximity of Lucas.
Hybrid Type Mode: Western Gorilla
Lucas turned as Gorilla with height of 2.2m!
Lucas hit straight towards Raizo, but Raizo jumped over the fist of the Lucas and did flying kick towards the head of the Gorilla!
It hit, but it barely did any damage, Lucas just simply back stepped few meters and rushed back to Raizo with great speed!
Many thinks Gorilla's as clumsy animal, but they don't know the speed which they can achieve, Lucas in his gorilla form can reach speed of 45 km/h which is even higher than Usain Bolt could achieve!
Gorilla Tackle!
Lucas sprinted towards Raizo and tried to tackle him with his current momentum, but Raizo just slid between his legs and turned to the back of the Gorilla and then coated his both arms in magma and started bombing Lucas' back with his magma fists!
Magma Fists!
''ARGH!'' yelled Lucas while he can't do anything, not even turn when the magma fists was pouring towards his back.
Lucas was slowly but surely pushed closer and closer towards edge of the arena, until he finally decided to undo his gorilla form and became young man with the height of 165cm and rushed out of the way of magma fists.
Seeing that Lucas undid his gorilla form, Raizo sprinted towards Lucas as fast as he can, because Hybrid type has one big weakness! Once you undo your form, you have cooldown of atleast 30seconds!

In 3 seconds Raizo managed to reach Lucas and started close range fighting. Raizo kept punching on the arms of Lucas while Lucas was desperately trying to block his fists with his arms raised as block.
Lucas was nearing closer and closer to the edge of arena, while Raizo still in close pursuit.
Raizo then elbowed Lucas' stomach while Lucas still was holding his arms up to try to block while the attack made Lucas puke blood.
''UGH.'' Lucas hands were full of bruises and he knew that he must stall more time!

It was getting closer and closer till the cooldown would end and Lucas decided to try to fight back, but he forgot one thing.. it was Raizo's magma.
Hellhound!
Magma with shape of a dog shot straight towards Lucas in under his shocked look and hit him straight at torso and sent flying out of the arena.

I was walking back towards the dressing room and i finally realized that i am in the Quarterfinals!!!! Once i noticed that i was in disbelief, but i knew from now on, there is no room for mistakes, each single match after this will be against one of the prodigies, no matter which one i will have to fight with everything i got!
I have noticed how many mistakes does these fighters do in these matches, which helps me to gain upperhand to defeat them, since everyone is still young, many of them are nervous and make mistakes or simply not enough experience in fights to avoid those simple mistakes.
But these prodigies are one thing, since they were kid they have been trained in fighting, way before they awakened even.
They won't let me have upperhand, they won't make mistakes and they definitely won't give me any breathing space during fight. They will come after me in match with nothing but will to dominate.
And i am ready, it's time to see results of my 4 years of training...

I watched the upcoming matches and i felt chill on my back.. first match against Leo Strongfaith who is one of the winning candidates and then if i somehow manage to win, i will be fighting against Amelia Green whose ability is filled with mysteries or Mor Flarewind one of the winning candidates to win it all.

I started walking towards the stands in the crowd to see the upcoming matches, i see that all the platforms has been removed and replaced with huge platform with atleast length of 200-250m. All matches will be held with different times, so first match will be Rei Bloodheart VS Darc Nightstar.

In the arena
Two young men were standing on the platform with distance of 100m.
One of the young man's has red hair with somewhat ordinary looking face with red eyes and with outfit full of red with few black lines on the sides.
Another one was handsome young man with heterochromic eyes with one being color of red and other color of purple with black hair and with sharp eyebrows with full black outfit.
It was calm before the storm!
