If she knew she would fail her exams, she shouldn't have pulled an all-nighter just to finish the manga she was reading. She also didn't know what happened!
At first, she was reviewing all of the subjects, opened her phone, then read a manga which she was supposed to only read three chapters then who knew what happened, the sun was already up when she remembered that she should review her notebooks, not her cellphone!
Next time, she will unplug her phone.
"I am really sorry Miss Avalon, however, it is clearly stated in the document that once you have failed grades, you will be forfeited. I want to help you but you failed all of the subjects."
Sibyl pleaded:"Teacher, is there really nothing than I can do to retain the scholarship? Please, I will do anything!"
Teacher:"Then... why don't you pay the tuition yourself?"
Sibyl:"..." If I have the money, do you think I will apply for the scholarship?!
Teacher:"I was just joking..."
Sibyl:"..." It's not a joke to be broke!
Sibyl stood there in silence looking pitiful. She stares at the teacher at lost and trying to evoke some sympathy.
Sibyl knew that her appearance is seen as harmless and she was often compared to a rabbit. So she uses it to her gains. Like right now, her eyes are misty and red, more rounder and she blinks slowly. She really looks lovely as of now.
Thankfully, the other teachers are in classes, or else she'd die in shame upon doing it.
The teacher's love for small and cute things was triggered. She knew Sibyl's situation is not good. She lives in an orphanage and was probably often bullied there, she should've been adopted a long time ago but was several times being impeded. As she grew, she swore to leave, and to do that, she needs to study so she begged the director and suffered misgivings just to enter school. Maybe, she was bullied and ordered around so she did not have the time to study before the exams and then....
Sibyl watch as the Teacher's face changes from pity to heartache and her eyes watered. She always saw this transition of expressions so she wasn't that surprised it's just that she wonders what do these people think to have these kinds of expressions.
Then the Teacher spoke while wiping her tears:"I understand, it must be hard on you to experience those..."
Sibyl:"..." Why are you suddenly crying? You are not the one who lost a scholarship!
If Sibyl actually knew what they were thinking. She will just scoff in their faces. Her life isn't that pathetic as they thought, if Sibyl were to describe it, it should be fun.
The Teacher gulps and looks left and right, after seeing that no teachers are within the parameter, she lowered her voice and said:"Actually, we had a meeting earlier today. There's gonna be a project proposed, its called 'Male-Female Dormitory.' it was said to be an experiment to see whether male and female can cohabitate healthily. The higher-ups were quite pissed after hearing the issue..."
Students of Noble High School came from wealthy families, aristocratic lineage, or elites. The majority is composed of the aristocrats and they were taught the sensitivity of men and women matters so the interaction between the opposite sex is low even in the classroom. There was an incident of several boys having a nosebleed when a female student of another school wore an article of very revealing clothing during a joint festival. Sibyl 'sincerely' smiled at the teacher and thank her. She felt that she will probably also feel pleased if the teacher stopped mentioning that she WAS an honour student.

Sibyl went back to her class and chanted to herself: I am kind, innocent, and does not say vulgar words. My classmates have holes in their brains and as a bigger person, I shall not fight with them. As she sat down, she was approached by several girls. If not for their words, Sibyl doubts if they are mocking her.
"Sibyl, what did the teacher said to you? Did she scolded you because you wrongly used the cutlery numerous times?"
"Or is it because your flower arrangement was horrible?"
"Maybe because you downloaded several kinds of stuff in the folder named BL?"
Sibyl's head rotated quickly to find the person who said the last one.
She carefully crafted an excuse to be left in the computer room to download many materials and she was still caught! And of all materials, it was actually when she was downloading BL!
She smiled at the girl innocently wishing her not to open a path of no return. Well, she's quite sure that her soul will leave her body once she saw what BL is.
Sibyl explained to them that it was about her scholarship, it was still fine when they offered their so-called sympathies.

When the group of women dispersed, she saw a couple of her male students shyly looking at her, quite concerned. Remembering their predicament, she gave them a kind smile like a mother encouraging them not to have a nosebleed. However, in the eyes of the conservative boys, it was sad and pitiful smile.
