It was late at night when Ethan and Samantha returned after biding final goodbye to Laila. Picking Mia from the Thomson they returned to their apartment.
Placing the sleeping Mia inside the baby crib, Ethan turned and saw Samantha sitting on the couch, deep in thoughts
"She is in a better place now Sam" Ethan joined her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder brushing it lightly.
Laila wasn't a bad lady, but her greed made her the woman she ended up becoming. If she had let go of everything and seen the brighter side of life, her life wouldn't have been a mess.
"I hope she finds peace now" closing her eyes Samantha leaned resting her head on Ethan's shoulder.
Laila was gone and they only wished she was happy wherever she was now.
They both were silent when Samantha opened her eyes and looked at Ethan who was in deep thought.
"What happened?" she creased her brows and sat straight tuning herself and looking at his serious face.
