The kiss was happened by mistake, but both Ethan and Samantha were stuck with feeling that was new to them.
After their 'by mistake kiss' both were feeling uncomfortable to talk to each other. They thought that their friendship had just started and this unexpected kiss was destroying it. After that both kept avoiding each other.
Though they came together to the office no one spoke a single word. Samantha was looking at Ethan, thinking that he would start the conversation, but he didn't spoke. On the other hand, Ethan was expecting Samantha to speak, but neither she spoke, she even went ahead leaving him behind when both reached the office.
Ethan had got use to her non stop talking and not speaking with her was making him feel uneasy. He thought maybe she didn't like what happened and she was trying to avoid him.
Doing his work Ethan turned to look at Samantha, he wanted to talk to her but he didn't knew what should he say? When they both kissed he didn't feel it bad. Her lips were so soft that he wanted it too last for some more time.
Thinking that she was busy, he diverted his attention again on his laptop.
On the other hand, Samantha who looked like she was working,but no it was just the act she was putting in front of him, her mind was lingering on their kiss. She thought everytime Ethan would come to talk to her, but this time he didn't speak a word.
"Why did he not speak even once with me after our kiss" she thought, "Was he ashamed? " she kept thinking about different scenario and made herself confused. She had started to like Ethan, but she didn't knew if he also felt the same for her. And now his avoidance was confirming her doubt that he only looked her as a friend.
She thought to keep her feeling for herself and not to destroy the friendship they both shared. She didn't want to linger on one side liking, as it will only hurt her more.
Thinking for a while, she came to a conclusion that she will not get close to him and keep distance, as it will help her to not fall for him. She thought that was the only safe move to control her unwanted liking.

Lucas was sulking on the back seat of his car, drilling holes on Ron. If watching with anger would have killed someone, Ron would have died a million times by now.
They had a meeting to attend with the Knights Enterprise. Lucas had asked Ron to sit next to driver and let Elena sit with the him, but she rejected the offer and took the front seat next to driver. She didn't want anyone to take it in a wrong way.
Ron who was wiping his face and praying silently to let this drive complete fast and they could reach their destination. He knew his boss was so excited with his childish plan of making Elena sit next to him, but Elena put water on it.
Elena was busy going through the file of the Knight Enterprise, when she got to know that the Knights wanted to merge with their company , she made sure to go through their background check.
Entering the restaurant, they found Mr Knight already waiting for them. August Knight was the second most successful businessman after Lucas father. He knew Blake very well, and when he found out that his daughter likes Lucas. He thought to let merge with his company, so he could use his plan of marrying his daughter to Lucas.
He was confident that Lucas would get ready to merge with one of their company, as it will help him grow his business all over the world. Mr Knight was waiting for a good opportunity, so he could execute his plan.
He knew his daughter possession for Lucas, but he couldn't take steps in hurry. He had to coax his daughter alot, before telling her about his plan. Agreeing with her father's words she decided to act according to what he said.
"Lucas Thomson, Its pleasure to meet you in person" August got up and forwarded his hand for a handshake.
He had asked his assistant to book his appointment with him in person. After alot of struggle his assistant finally got his meeting schedule with Lucas.
"You finally got me Mr Knight" he said shaking his hand and sat on the chair.
"You are a very busy man, you tormented my assistant alot to get your time" August took his seat. He wanted to make a good reputation in front of Lucas and wanted to get in his good books, so after he gains his trust he would play his master card and get his daughter marry him.
August was not a good man, he wanted to have Lucas company by letting his daughter marry him. By doing that his reputation in the business world would reach the peek and his daughter would be the sole person who will get Lucas property.
"I still couldn't understand, why do you want to merge with my company? " Lucas said as he still had doubts about what was the use of getting merged, when his own company was the second most top company in the business world.
"It was my dream to work with your company. I had known Blake for a long time and knew how professional he was with his work. And now that you have taken your father's position,I could see you are not less than him.So i didn't wanted to miss this opportunity to collab with you. " August was only polishing his words, so that Lucas couldn't get any suspicion about his intentions.
"If we work together, your company will earn more profit as many of the other companies working with me would also get to your side" August kept looking at Lucas undecided face.
Lucas knew working with him is a good opportunity to let his business grew internationally. All the companies who were in partnership with Knight Enterprise would eventually work with him too. Though he knew it was a good thing, , but still Lucas felt it was too early to take any decision.
Lucas had heard from his father that August was a person who sugarcoated his words to get what he wanted. Behind his trustful face there was cunning fox who manipulates everyone for his benifit. Lucas wanted to know why was he so eager to merge with him, because after giving him so many excuses he was still stubborn to meet him.
"Mr Knight, I'll still need time to come to a decision" Lucas politely said to August as he didn't wanted to sound indecisive. He wanted to get to know his intension. He couldn't trust anyone other than him for his company matter.
"You can have all the time you want" August said not to forcing him anymore. He wanted to take slow steps and his patience would help him in gaining his trust. Though he wanted things to happen fast, but he still didn't wanted to push him which will lead him to be suspicious about him.
After thier meeting, they went back to the company. Elena was still thinking why would Lucas let go off this opportunity, when there was nothing wrong to work with Knight Enterprise.

Working on the laptop, Maira was doing her work she needed to learn, though the environment was new to her she didn't feel uncomfortable.
When she was a small girl she would come to visit her father with her mom. Grown up watching familiar face, she was known to everyone. Her assistant,uncle Mark who was guiding her had been with her father for long time.He was her father's childhood friend and looked up on her as his own daughter.When her father took the retirement, he gave her responsibility in his hand to handle.
She was busy with her work when her phone started ring. Stopping what she was doing, she turn to look on the screen. A smile creeped on her face when she saw who was calling.
Picking the call she spoke"Hello.... ", she waited for the person to speak, but he didn't opened his mouth.
" Why did you call when you don't want to talk"she said playfully.
Even after her speaking the person still kept silence. She thought what has gotten into him,and why was his not speaking? Then she got an idea and she decided to tease him.
"Fine if you don't want to speak ,then I'll cut the call" she said in angry voice to make it sound real and before she pretended to cut it the person spoke.
"Wait... wait... don't cut" he said in rush, fearing she would really cut the call.
"I thought you didn't want to talk? " she said smiling on how easily he panicked.
"It should be me who should be angry? "Daneil wanted to throw tantrums and make her coax him, but she only got angry and was cutting the call without even trying to ask anything.
"You didn't call me even for once from the morning" he spoke like a spoil kid making her laugh at his cute act.
Daneil got up in the morning and had texted her good morning, but she didn't reply nor call him back. He thought she must be busy getting ready for the office, but it was almost going to be her lunch time and she didn't bother to text him a reply.
"I had texted you, didn't you see it" he spoke pouting his lips. He was waiting for her reply from the morning but didn't get any. Losing his patience he himself called her.
Pulling back the phone she scroll down the notifications tab only to find his text messages. Closing her eyes on her stupidity she again put back the phone to speak.
"Sorry..... " she said and was about to give explanation but was stopped.
"No! sorry won't do anything" he said with a smirk.
