Laila looked at the questioning pair of eyes that gawked her. How suddenly everything turned against her even though she was careful.
"E-Ethan w-what are you saying?" she said getting up from her chair and looking at them.
She couldn't lose after she went through so much just to reach here. Her destination was just a few steps away and now she couldn't fail.
Ethan let out a disgusting chuckle. He knew she will not accept her fault and keep playing dumb.
"Fine then... you asked for it," he said and went to turn on the projector.
Everyone's eyes widen when they saw how Laila had sneaked into Samantha's office and changed the papers in her absence.
Laila felt her knees turn weak as she panicked looking at the footage which clearly showed her manipulating the papers which landed Samantha and the entire company into trouble.
