Zander wasn't that foolish to not understand what was Lucas trying to throughout the whole function.
"By the way Lucas why did you wanted an urgent meeting. Did you already got tired of my pestering" Zander had his eyes fixed on Lucas who had his face straight throughout the conversation.
"I wouldn't have bothered to look your way if I didn't had my work with you" Lucas wasn't into cracking jokes. All he wanted was to make things clear between them and make him stop all things he was trying to do.
Zander's smile drop at the mention of Lucas words. He knew Lucas wouldn't want to meet unless he had finally found out.
