Buzz!!!!!
It was the alarm.
"oh my goodness" I said as I immediately reach out my hand from the blanket to turn it off, mumbling inaudible words, I lazily rose up from my bed.
"geez!!!" I exclaimed, hitting my head slightly with my fingers on realizing, what time it is.
"I'm late..." I gritted my teeth, sprung up and immediately reach out for a new bed sheet and made my bed, after which I took my towel and left for the bathroom.
I pressed to toothpaste onto my toothbrush and started brushing each corner of my mouth, I can spend thirty minutes on brushing alone, it's an habit.
Knock knock
"Claudia are you there" my eyes widened, it was Clara , my no-nonsense twin sister. She kept knocking until I answered.
"Yes I am, Five minutes please, I'm so sorry for the delay...will be right there" I said in my usual sweet and cajoling voice.
'Clara would really be mad at me this time.' I muttered to myself, there was no response afterwards, I guess she'd left already.
I rinsed my mouth, turned on the shower to take my bath, took my towel and then I pat my smooth skin dry and exited the bathroom.
I applied cream and then put on my college uniform. I'm so happy, It's first semester of our second year in pure college. I have missed school, now we're to resume back from the long break.
I took care of my room, arranging everything like I wouldn't come back again, after everything was placed in order because I really hate it when things are disorganized. I carried my bag, took my cell phone, checkout myself in the mirror.
'You look so good' I praised myself and danced a bit.
'Go get all the nice guys in pure college ' I giggled at my own thought, lost in my own imaginary world, then I suddenly realized I had kept Clara waiting for so long. I exited my room.

On getting out of my room, I could swear I can perceive the aroma of food, that familiar scent you get in my house when a particular agal is around. I increased my pace and hurried down the stairs.
Grandma!" I called, not so surprised, you know my grandma's presence by the sumptuous meal she makes.
She was the least person I had expected to see that day, Clara and I had really wanted her to come visit during our holiday but she fell sick and had to be admitted in the hospital near her residence, which was way far from our town.
"Yes my darling angel. " Grandma, on realizing I was behind her left what she was doing and embraced me. Not to brag, I was my grandma's favourite little granddaughter 'hehehehe'.
"Here, Have this, I made it specially for you and your twin sister, she had hers already" she said once again, pulling my out of my train of thought. Her smile was so pretty, she looked so beautiful too, despite being in her mid 60's .
I couldn't hide my happiness as I grinned from ear to ear hugging her as she was dear to me. She sat on the kitchen counter and collected the breakfast of french fries and chicken nuggets to me. it look so appalling, I had to gulp down so saliva as my mouth became watery.
"Thank you so much, Grandma, you don't need to stress yourself at all but I do really appreciate this." I said smiling and sipping the hot chocolate that was served along with it.
"Grandma, how's your health now, I can see you're feeling better."
"Yes my darling, I feel young and healthy, you're such a sweet soul." I could fathom the emotions in her eyes.
"Oh grandma, that's nothing, it is just the least we could do, we were only able to call you." I said
"That alone is more than enough for me, Hurry my dear you are a running quite late for college and besides the meal is getting cold already" Grandma said brushing my hair with her hands and removing the strands that seems to cover my face.
"Oh Grandma am not a kid anymore" I said, whyning, I quickly shoved in my food, I feel like I'd really choke on it.
" Whatever, you are still my little angel... " Grandma replied and I smiled in return.
I checked the wall clock and I must admit, I was already late, I was pretty sure Clara must have left with the driver, she does that alot as she does not condone lateness.
I had plan to take the train and at this point I am going to miss the train, I quickly drank the tea, an grandma helped me with my bag, she also collected the mug from me and kept it on the kitchen table while I headed towards the door.
"Okay grandma see you soon, don't go yet, we have to discuss our 19th years birthday with you." I told her and winked playfully.
"Alright darling, we discuss that when you're back."
"Okay, granny. " I replied nodding my head and not looking back.
On getting outside I could neither find Clara nor the driver just like I had predicted, I think she left already so I went to ask the security man.
"Yeah, she left already" The security man, Adams, replied.
I felt so irritated. Though I had already expected it but this is around the fifth time of her doing this, she's so cold .
"She didn't go with the driver though, the car was faulty, so the driver took it for repair." Adams added.
" Oh!, alright. I have to leave now, I'm late for college already." I thought of changing my mind to take a subway instead but still opted for the train as I had decided to earlier.
"Yeah train should be better." I checked my bag for some cash and fortunately it should be more than enough to take me to school.
