Queen Ariadne's POV.
I was scared that he came to see me at the stable. This was not the meeting point. I only stop by to help the horses and as soon as the old man returns, I will leave for the garden.
"I won't go there. We can talk here as well," he insisted.
I was not surprised by his behavior. However, I was not going to allow him force me into something I did not want. The garden was the location and I told the other women as well. The emperor was going to go there.
"I'm not suggesting, prince Edward" I said taking a step back. He was too closed and I did like the fact that there was a little gap between us. "Go to the garden, I shall meet with you once I'm done here."
"There is nothing wrong with this stables," he looked around as if he was trying to find a reason to stay. "I love it. The garden is a bit risky. We should not let the guards see us."
