Prince Edward was heading to the harem to see Marlena when the guard stopped him. The Emperor sent for him. He was surprised and afraid at the same time. He was not supposed to be going to the harem by this time. Or has someone leaked their secret? He was planning to him about it but had no idea of how to do it.
He loved Marlena and there was no mistake about. In order not to hurt or disobey his father, prince Edward wanted to meet with Marlena and tell her to hold on until he tells his parents. However, the meeting did not happen.
He knocked on the Emperor's door when he got there. Never in his life has he feared so much. Prince Edward wondered if it was a mistake to love Marlena. His heart kept on thumping within his chest as he waited for his father's response. It was as if it was going to come out of his mouth if he dares to say a word.
