Grandmother stormed into the room. She was angry at everyone for believing in queen Ariadne's lie. Even Sargon did not care to ask her for an explanation. He believed the little show his wife put on.
"That woman has gone crazy" She shouted, clearing the table with her hands. The items went down with a loud noise.
"Are you going to blame others for your mistake?" a familiar voice asked. Grandmother wondered who it was. Could it be Valeria? Only she would come to her room like this.
"Come out of your hiding, Valeria. I'm surprised that you believe those dogs."
"Oh, grandmother! Do not claim you are innocent" Queen Valeria came out of her hiding place and sat on a chair. "You did not just disgrace the Emperor, you disgraced me as well."
"I did not do anything" She insisted.
"If you wanted to teach Ariadne a lesson, you should have told me. We would have come up with something bigger and better...not this stupid game, you played."
