Queen Ariadne's POV.

"Greetings, mother" we all greeted. She did not answer. It seemed like no one wanted to answer me today. Her darted. I knew at once that she heard our conversation. It was too obvious.
"Who is I love with my prince?" Mother asked. My heart skipped a bit. Queen Marlena was already shivering. If the Emperor gets to hear it, we will be in trouble.
"M-mother, I-i don't understand. Nobody is in love with your prince" I stammered. She was not convinced yet. Queen Marlena was trying to wipe tears off her face.
I frowned at her and walked to my mother "We were talking about the concubines. I have warned them not to fall in love with the prince."
"What was the reason for that?" She asked, removing her earrings. " There is no sign of such laws for the women in a prince's harem."
"Oh...I see. Thank you, mother" I answered.
