"Your highness" I curtsied with a smile. But it did not last long. The thought of queen Valeria's pregnancy hit me once again. I stood with a frown, waiting for grandmother to start. She was silent. No words came from the mouth that rained insults on me earlier.
"Welcome grandmother and queen Ariadne. I'm happy to see you together" the emperor replied with a smile. He was working on a wooden item that looked like a horse. When I tiptoed and stretched my neck, it was a toy made by a craft man. (Maybe it was him)
"We are not together" Grandmother took a few steps away from me and continued, "I asked the queen to do something but she didn't. You know how stubborn she is."
"Really?" He asked, taking a napkin from the table. He used it to clean the wooden horse. The beauty appeared and I wished it was made for my baby.
"Yes, your highness" She answered. I was less concerned about her ranting. She liked to mingle in my business.
