She discovered to her dismay, that queen Ariadne walked out of them. Queen Valeria slapped her cheeks twice to recover from the shock. Who gave that woman the right to talk to them like that?
"Little children have grown wings in a day. Do you see the way she spoke to us?" Grandmother shook her head, staring at the door as if queen Ariadne would appear anytime soon. "Why did you start a conversation with people that don't deserve it, Valeria?"
"How will I know that she was going to reply to s in a meaningful way? Queen Valeria frowned, wishing she had never approached her in the first place. It seemed her brain had stopped working!
"You shouldn't have stopped her, Valeria. What did you say to her?"
"I wanted to reconcile with the Emperor so since she is the closest person to him, I decided to talk to her about it" queen Valeria explained. She was going to hide this from Grandmother if not for queen Ariadne's foolishness. "She behaved poorly out here."
