I stood outside the Emperor's room with the maids. One of the guards went in, to informed him that I was here. Few seconds later, the door opened and he urged me to go inside.
I turned to the maids and ask them to return back to the harem. There was no need for them to stand outside the room , all night.
I entered the room and the Emperor stood closed to his table with her hands behind. Not only prince Edward but he has also grown taller and muscular.
"Your highness" I curtsied as he turned and faced me. My heart thumped when he took another step towards me. I grabbed the rope on my dress and twists it on my fingers. This was the moment, I have dreamt and waited for. Why was I scared now?
"Queen Ariadne" He spread his arms wide and waited for a hug. When I thought I was shy , my legs did betrayed me.
