I went in to the bathroom and took my clothes off. The water I needed to bath was already prepared. This surprised me. Someone thought about it today. After grandmother removed the maids under my service, I started calling servants to help me do some of the chores. When Anne moved back to the palace, I stopped her from working as a maid. She was six months pregnant now. I didn't want to take chances with her.
I sat down on the seat and poured water on my body. I made sure that I scrubbed my legs very well. Still not satisfied, I went in to the big bowl of water kept not too far from me . I closed my eyes and allowed my self to drown in my thoughts.
The emperor has been away for months. There was no message from him. I wrote many letters but I did not get any reply. It seems they never left the palace.
I wish he can come back before grandmother or queen Valeria or Marlena strikes.
