I signed a non-exclusive contract with --- to get my chapters monetized on Webnovel, however, the catch is that they can't link my current account with theirs so re-uploading chapters is a must.
I know this sounds like horrible news, but it's mostly for me and not for you lovely readers, you'll still get to continue reading my chapters it's just that it might be on a different account. Same title, same synopsis, same book cover, same chapters, same everything.
I know some of are going to hate the fact that my chapters are going to become paid to read but it shouldn't come as a surprise after all Webnovel is a paid-to-read website, every book on here becomes pay to read chapters eventually. But you lovely readers shouldn't be worried about locked chapters for now. I'm not planning to lock my chapters as soon as I start using a different account, I think my book is a little bit too early for that when compared to where other authors start theirs.
So guys all I'm saying is that my chapter updates are going to be on a different account on Webnovel. For the 100 lovely readers who have added this to your libraries, you won't be able to get chapter updates on that book, you guys and all the other probably 86,000 silent readers would need to do a quick search of our book title to see the other account.
Though this is from my understanding, not sure if that's accurate, maybe this account would just be reset and then I'll have to start uploading again. I'm currently in contact with my Licensee so if that information is off I'll let you guys know here.
Oh, and did I mention I'll be on a two-week hiatus?… haha I think I should've started with that oops.
It's just some college stuff no big deal, I'll be writing chapters whenever I can during that time. When I come back I'll probably be dishing out two or three chapters a day in the first week I'm back.
