Regardless of how long it took, William did eventually regain consciousness. It was still difficult to understand what knocked them out cold, but this definitely wasn't a pleasant experience.
The situation wasn't any better now, especially since he could barely catch a fraction of light here! It was tricky to make sense of the surroundings, but a familiar tone helped understand the dilemma.
"Gone for five years, but you got fucked over by an old man, who only had a handful of powdered honey. That's plain embarrassing, you had all that time to toughen up, but you're still a weak kid." It said.
The young man already guessed who spoke out, and at this point he didn't bother too know where the enemy stood. An answer seemed necessary instead, he didn't fear the odds after all.
