Chapter 44 - Desperate pace

In hind sight it was stupid to trust a stranger, it was especially a bad idea to throw an expensive topaz on them. Yet desperation begged to differ, William had no time to waste.

He had wandered around for too long already, and stage two of the hantonic disease had been triggered in exchange. The hero had no other choice but to pierce through time itself, with the aid of wealth!

"Ah!" He had to shout.

Although such wild hollers scared his friends, they were exceptional. It wasn't easy to handle such a degree of pain, especially when it felt as if huge nails bashed against his skin!

New bones continued to grow across his lower, right arm! Quite obviously, the burn that tagged along could not be tolerated by any average soul.

Now with that pace of severity considered, greed was one thing he wanted to avoid. A gem was thrown at that man who led them to some library, afterwards another expensive topaz was tossed to the librarian.
