She had pondered what the young man said, and every fibre of her being rejected the idea of retreat. She wanted to face those shadow-people head on!
Frankly, Olivia was on the same page, she said. "Yes, let's show them who we are... come on, Willy, we fought much worse!"
That in fact was quite true, apart from Mirada who was a late addition to the group, the rest truly had handled fearsome battles before! These recent opposers seemed weak in comparison.
