Considering the hype which was built up before they reached this place, the team expected to fight a whole army once they leaped into the hatch! However, that wasn't the case here whatsoever.
Quite the contrary, they got into a dramatically empty and damp cave. It was so calm and quiet here, that a few water droplets could be easily heard somewhere close by, they dribbled down from the ceiling and splashed on a decent-sized puddle.
In all ways possible, it seemed like this dark cave hadn't held any inhabitants in a long time. That fact alone was a bit odd, as the hatch itself was accessible by anyone who could lift that rusty bit of metal, as it was out in the open!
Anyway, since the team didn't clash with a bunch of enemies upon entrance, they saw it reasonable to deal with other issues for a turn. Specifically, they saw this place as a good spot to sleep in.
