When William tossed a mug of water towards an extremely heated piece of metal, he didn't really expect much in return. Logically speaking, the liquid would just dry off almost instantly.
Nature worked like that, and physics encouraged it, at least back on earth as far as he could remember. The situation however, was swift to develop beyond what he could have predicted or comprehended!
Instead of any rapturous water-frying sounds, the group of observers heard a soft thud instead. It took one little peek to notice one odd thing, the sword's whole form had suddenly dissipated into a soft and mushy puddle!
"Well, I don't know how the hell that worked, but looks like we know how to smelt this metal now." William expressed.
"With water?" The main blacksmith asked, and hinted towards the anomality.
As an urge to tease manifested, the prime experimenter pressured. "Yes, with water. What are you complaining for? It won't cost you anything."
