"For fuck's sake, it looks like someone shat across the stairs." William complained, as if he wasn't solely responsible for that explosion.
"It was fun though, far better than chucking ale down. Do you always do stuff like this?" Victor added, and latched off of the water-barrel where his fingers had dug in.
"Not explosions in particular, but I do risk my life a lot." The prime experimenter explained, as he slowly tip-toed downwards to reach the chamber.
There thankfully weren't any burning layers of fire as a result. That linear and concentrated-blow, had hit the basement's stone wall rather than anything flammable.
The eruption's muffled sound, also gestured that this little rumble had escaped unheard. Random snakes from above couldn't have heard or felt it, so the two experimenters practically got away with a provoked, laser-like shot!
