Chapter 25 - New Friend

CHAPTER 25

That was all they saw, a flicker of light and the next thing…

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!"

A bone piercing cry tore through the environment, sending birds around the vicinity to scurry off and whatever beast laying in the dark to move.

Crack!

SPLASH!

Thud!

Within a minute before every one of them could count their loss, as they were being taken one by one like a wild beast in the dark, he had already beaten and injured severely six of them, leaving just four remaining.

The look of fear in their eyes told of a different tale from what they were used to.

It spoke a different story, making it even best for Abaddon who preferred the look in his enemies eyes to be one of TERROR!

"Aaaaahhhhh!"

Bone cracking!

Thud!

By now, the other three were already shaking and grinding their teeth in fear of wht terror awaited them. What hell of pain awaited them in the hands of the one and only Harbinger of doom.

"I told you, you really should ever disturb a sleeping lion. Do not bother a lone wolf and do not take the gentle movement of a tiger for foolishness, didn't I?"

"Umm, y-yy-yes y-yyouu did," the others remaining stammered.

"I did right? Great then. Now, time to make you understand the reason I said so. Enough games."

SWOOSH.

Like lightning he moved past them…

CRACK…

The sound of bones breaking was heard, followed by their screams as he snapped almost every bone in their limbs and body.

By the time he was done, he left all ten of them to be sprawled on the ground, most bleeding from different parts of their bodies and some, although not bleeding as much, had more bones cracked away.

Letting out a deep breath, he smiled as his eyes fell on his work.

"Aahh… Satisfying, don't you think?"

Pulling out a white clean handkerchief from his pocket, he gently wiped whatever little bloodstain was on his fingers off, before holding the handkerchief and letting it remain in the air, then his eyes shone and fire engulfed the whole thing, leaving nothing left of the white cloth.

"Tell Fearghal that he really needs to do much, better than this in fact if he wants to get me. Thank you gentle demons for the exercise. It really was a nice opportunity you know."

Without saying much, he cast a cold gaze at the leader.

"Ahh…" then he snickered at him, his cold gaze sending shivers and fear up his spine before he half closed his eyes and averted his gaze to his car.

"I'm going to turn my car around, I suggest you run away now, else I would not be so merciful as this time."

Not waiting for their response, Abaddon stalked towards the drivers seat and opened the car door. He really wanted to squash them and let them yell away in anguish.

What a joy it would bring to his angry heart.

Meanwhile, after he left, Emma decided to take a little stroll outside to get some groceries and when she was done and leaving she met a young man walking out the store together with her.

"Hello," he charming called out to her.

"Hi."

"I could not help but noticing," he began but stopped as he allowed his eyes do the appreciating and talking.

"Noticing what?" Emma repeated, hoping to bring his attention back to her.

"How beautiful you are. You look like my sister's charming lovely doll. Of course that was when we were young and she would never want to part with it," he added quickly.

"Ah, I see."

"Yes." His lips still remained parted as he searched for the right words to say to her. Stretching forth his free hand, he said, "Forgive me. That must have been rude of me."

"No. No it is okay."

'I did not mean it in a bad way. You just looked so sweet and charming and I recalled that…"

He paused, realizing he wasn't referring to the very same thing he apologized for.

"Doll," she completed for him. "I get it. It is completely okay."

He bit down on his lower lip while squeezing his eyes a bit. "You think?"

"Yeah, I think. Anyways, do not worry. It is one of these things. At least I was not compared to an evil witch doll or a masquerade or something."

She made gimmicks with her hands to better emphasize her point before laughing freely and smiling at him.

"There, it is okay for me. I am not mad at you."

"I see and I am glad you are not."

"Why?"

"Because then, I would not be able to do this." Before she could figure out what he meant, he closed in the gap between them and snatched her paper bags from her hand and smiled.

"Wha…" her lips remained parted as she watched him giggle cutely. "Give that back."

"No. I should at least help you with this don't you think? It is the least I can do for annoying such a damsel."

"Oh please."

"No. I insist. I came with my car. I can just drop you off and save you the trek."

She really wanted to refuse but seeing as he was trying, she decided to accept.

"Fine. Just this once."

"Thanks, my lady. Now, please follow me."

He led her to his car and opened the door for her after dropping her belongings at the back seat. "There you go."

"Thank you."

"Welcome." Rounding off the corner, he entered the car as well and drove in the dricteion she told him

By the time they arrived at her house, she highlighted from his car, but not before he came down and helped her out first.

"Here you go." His pleasant smile remained on his face while handing her, her package.

"Thanks, for real."

"Nah it was nothing. I am just happy to help after ruining my chance at being friends with you."

"I told you. There was no need."

"And I insisted. Let's just leave it at that. So, this is where you live?"

"Yes."

"Interesting."

His gaze trailed around and then landed on the building and a smirk appeared on his face but due to the fact he was backing her, she failed to see it but someone not too far from where they were, saw it all.
