He paused and looked at the men. I turned and looked at them too. Their faces remained expressionless trying to understand what they had just heard.
For a few moments, nobody reacted, and my heart started hammering in my chest.
Carter said nothing more, waiting for their reaction to come. I started to think that things wouldn't go well, and my anxiety intensified when suddenly the first reactions from the men came and they were… positive!?
«Well done, Captain! Long live to our Captain and Serena!" men cried, raising their glasses.
