"Stop!" She shouted as she opened her eyes and catches her breath. A dream. She arched her brows and held her forehead. She fixated at her daughter sleeping beside her, she then let out a sigh as she pushed herself upright and she sat on the be. She begun caressing her forehead to her hair, while silently crying. "I'm sorry baby, if you have to endure every pain I'm causing you and cover it with your smile... just so you'd see me smiling the way you do. I don't even deserve you, you're such an angel." A lone tear dripped from her eyes as she gently kissed her daughter's forehead.

Felisse stood up from the bed and went towards the kitchen, she stopped walking as if she had dejavu . She shook her head and went straight to the fridge to find something she can cook. While she was busy chopping the bell peppers, she suddenly felt the pain on her head again. Her dream started to pop on her memories and she can't help herself but to sat on the floor while holding her head using her right hand and on her left, she was holding the knife. The pain stopped and she started to hear that ringing sound before she begun seeing her mother showering on it's own blood. She startled with what she is seeing, she looked at her hand and it was stained with blood while holding a knife. "AHHHHHH!!" Felisse shouted throwing the knife away from her, she immediately heard some noises "You never did anything useful for this family!" "Ungrateful Bitch!" "Slut!" Voices engulfed her thoughts and each words are becoming louder and louder. She hugged herself and covered her ears while while crying but it's no use. The nightmare kept coming back.
Felisse was about to bump her head again, against the wall but then she suddenly felt a warm embrace behind her. "Mommy.." Michelle uttered, hugging her mom using her small arms just enough to give her mother a company. Felisse felt secured by her daughter's presence.
After a minute, the noises stopped. All she can hear is the boiling water and the cold breeze coming from the open window touching her skin. It was like she has awoken from the nightmare. She's calmed, she then smiled and hugged her daughter back. "Baby? Mommy's fine already, now go ahead and fix our table we're going to eat" Michelle nodded her head and went straight to the dining room. Felisse with her shaking hand gently grabbed the knife from the floor and rinsed it with water before she continued chopping the ingredients and added it into the pot of curry she's cooking.
"Yey let's eat!" Her daughter Michelle cheered while having this smile on her face before she took a bite of the food. "Uhmm! Yummy" Felisse smiled and wiped her daughter's mouth using her tumb before she ate with her. The two ate their dinner peacefully until Michelle broked the silence by asking "Mommy.. can i ask something?" She politely asked. Felisse wiped her lips with the towel and looked at her child having a sweet smile "Yes baby, what is it."
Michelle excitedly looked at her mother's face before she spoke. "Who is my father?"
